Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another honor to his glittering career after being awarded the “Best of All Time” title by the Portuguese Football League.

The recognition comes during a record-breaking week for the 40-year-old, who became the joint-highest goalscorer in World Cup qualifying history.

Ronaldo also extended his astonishing international tally to 223 goals during September’s fixtures, inspiring Portugal to victories over Armenia and Hungary in their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign.

Liga Portugal praised the Al Nassr superstar for his unparalleled impact on football, stating:

“An inescapable figure in sports and an idol to millions, he defined an era and will leave an indelible mark on world football. In this third edition of the Liga Portugal Awards, CR7 was honored with the ‘Best of All Time’ award, a fitting recognition for the golden pages he continues to write in his career.”

Although unable to attend the ceremony, Ronaldo expressed his gratitude in a heartfelt video message:

“I want to thank Liga Portugal for the ‘Best of All Time’ award. As you can imagine, it’s a huge honor for me to win something for my country. I’d like to thank all my teammates, coaches, and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. Thank you all very much, and enjoy!”

With five Ballon d’Ors, countless records, and a legacy spanning Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al Nassr, Ronaldo continues to prove that age is no barrier to greatness. His influence on and off the pitch cements his status as one of the most celebrated athletes in history.
