Jauan Jennings Restructures Contract With 49ers After Trade Request - Loadedmore.ng

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has agreed to a restructured contract following his offseason trade request, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The deal introduces up to $3 million in play-time incentives, raising Jennings’s potential earnings to $10.5 million from the $7.5 million in his original deal.

Jennings, who inked a two-year, $15.4 million contract before the 2024 season, is now positioned to be a focal point of San Francisco’s offense. Last year, he enjoyed a breakout season, leading the 49ers with 77 receptions, 975 yards, and six touchdowns all career highs.

With Deebo Samuel’s departure this offseason, Jennings is expected to play an even larger role in 2025. The incentive-heavy structure gives him the chance to capitalize on his performance while rewarding the 49ers’ faith in his development. Jennings will hit unrestricted free agency in 2026 if he continues on his current trajectory.
