Boxing icons Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather are set to collide in one of the most shocking and talked-about exhibition fights in history.
The two legends have officially agreed to step into the ring in 2026, promising fans a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
Tyson, now 59, confirmed the blockbuster bout on Instagram with a split image of himself and Mayweather, writing simply: “Coming soon.” Fight organizers CSI/Fight Sports later released a statement, describing the event as an unpredictable clash no one ever imagined possible.
“This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen. Boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets,” Tyson said.
Despite Tyson’s concerns about Mayweather’s health, the 48-year-old unbeaten star who retired 50-0 in 2017 and insists his legacy will remain untouchable.
“There hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy. If I’m going to do something, it’s going to be big and legendary,” Mayweather declared.

Tyson, the youngest-ever heavyweight world champion, dominated the 1980s with ferocious knockouts and a fearsome reputation as The Baddest Man on the Planet.
